If u want to get rid of that banner thing , try to install the Privoxy banner and pop-up filter. Its based on the well known junkbuster banner filter and got some very effective improvements.

Nedit                                                     (handy Texteditor, syntax highlighting, small and fast)
Baudline                                               (very cool spectrum analyser and more)
Edonkey Client & GUI                     (filesharing, many users, cool GUI)
BlackBox                                             (this one rocks - fast windowmanager that consumes only few memory)
Privoxy                                                 (banner- and pop filter mentioned above)

Focus Forensic (new)                                                 (Remove Motion Blur etc.)
